The site and its hosting provider may process basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and aggregate statistics. If paid subscriptions are enabled in future, payment is handled by Stripe; card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by this site.

Purpose and legal basis: to deliver the newsletter you requested and to keep the site secure. The basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by unsubscribing, and the legitimate interest in the security of the site.

Processors: Ghost(Pro) (site hosting and email delivery) and Stripe (payments, if enabled).

Your rights: you may access, correct, or delete your data, and unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email or by contacting miguelcastilla@swisseyemd.com. Under the nFADP you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Where the GDPR applies, you hold the corresponding rights and may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

Retention: subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
